Do you need a quick disposable email address to sign up for something online and don’t want to risk having your own email address used for spam? John C. Dvorak has a solution, which is this week’s Tip of the Day: Temp Mail.

Sometimes I require doing QA on my own websites and need to test how new signup flow. A disposable email address from Temp Mail comes in really handy here. Much faster than creating a new email account on Gmail. Check it out!

John Dvorak: Temp-mail is a temporary email address generator. You can use it to sign up for websites and protect yourself from spam by using a fake email. The best part? You can still confirm registrations because the site lets you access incoming emails right there.

So, you sign up, get a temporary email, confirm your account, and you’re good to go.

Now, of course, some people might use this for things like espionage, poison pen letters

Adam Curry: Or Bitcoin scams!

John Dvorak: Anything you want. It’s a bit sketchy in that regard, but at the same time, this could come in very handy.
