Tip of the Day: Repair Weak and Damaged Nails with Nail Tek Strengthener
John C. Dvorak was opening a Liquid Death (recent Tip of the Day product) and he CRACKED his fingernail. Nail Tek to the rescue!
John described this admittedly screwy product as a ‘little piece of plastic’, (hard to get out of package) you put it over your nail, you can’t see it, and it seals the crack in the nail. JCD recommends this highly but his wife Mimi, thinks it’s crap, so she uses Super Glue, then coats it with clear nail polish. And if it’s really bad, she uses a piece of fiberglass to repair her nail!
Though JCD was describing this product as ‘NewTek’. He’s probably really recommending SuperNail Nail Bandage since it has the plastic bandage and $6.30 price he described.

A secondary, Almost-Tip-of-the-Day was mentioned by Adam. He commiserated that he brought on an airplane, a scale on which you could weigh your baggage. You clip it to your baggage and you hold the other end and it weighs it. Adam can’t find it anymore. We found a bunch of them on Amazon!
