Tip of the Day: Camera Review Archive at DPReview.com

For years DPReview was the Go To for in-depth camera reviews. Despite ownership changes, the archive is still online and is useful for it’s exhausitve reviews for quaity digital cameras.

John Dvorak: If anyone ever is going to buy a digital camera, a used one in particular or a new one, don’t go to the computer magazines or online stuff. There’s ONE website that all they do is review digital photography stuff. They review every camera that’s ever come out. You can go look at their old reviews if you want to buy a used one.

Buying a used digital camera is not a bad idea in today’s world because they really got to a very high peak five years ago and they’re still very useful, these cameras. But which one would you get? And then there’s lenses and other things that these guys review…
