The Promise

Adam’s friend told him to watch it the movie drama, The Promise. starring Christian Bale.  It takes place during the 1915 Armenian genocide in the Ottoman Empire. The world pretty much stood by and allowed this to happen according to Adam. Dvorak responded that we weren’t a world power then. 

Currently, Turkey is in economic crisis and there’s concern it will spill over into the world economy.
