“Worse show ever!” John C. Dvorak [NA 841 2:11]

The Wire

During a clip of a social justice activist blaming ‘suburban values’ and shows like the Wire and how it depicts communities hating the police for bad police culture. Adam joked how shows like the Wire should then be taken off the air. Dvorak in turn criticized MSNBC and praised The Wire as a ‘good show!’ [828 3:07]

Milo

While discussing brash conservative and Adam’s ‘favorite gay’, Milo Yiannopoulos, Dvorak remembered that Milo is a name of a sorghum based beverage from Nestle. [828 2:53]

Inside the NBA on TNT

Inside the NBA is the postgame show for NBA on TNT broadcasts. The program features host Ernie Johnson with analysts Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal, Dvorak loves the show and I have to agree, watching the Dubs destroy teams and hearing their analysis has been a fun time this season. The broadcast team has a good sense of humor and does a ‘go

Pimp by Iceberg Slim

John called, “Pimp” by Iceberg Slim. “A must read!” for all No Agenda listeners. Get it at Amazon [819 2:39]

The Assassination Complex

Adam played a clip of an interview with Jeremy Scahill the author of The Assassination Complex. This book covers the ‘kill chain’ that leads to an assassination via the United States government’s secret drone warfare program.. Amusing was the reveal of BBC’s or baseball cards of assassination targets. Also covered was how different government officials

Pecker

During Dvorak’s segment, Name that Movie, replayed during the funny clip show (NA 822) John referenced the John Waters film, Pecker. This is actually an entertaining and endearing film – the best of John Waters ‘straight Hollywood’ films IMHO. From Wikipedia: Set in a Baltimore neighborhood known for having the thickest local accent, Pecker tells the story of

Shuffle Along

During a Con-ver-say-shun about cultural appropriation, John Dvorak recommended that if you find yourself in New York City,  go see the Broadway musical, Shuffle Off  Shuffle Along.

Leo Laporte Slams John C. Dvorak as a Tech Reporter

Sorry, video no longer available on YouTube. Leo can’t keep to himself his true feelings about former TWiT panelist, John C. Dvorak. This time stating, he “used to be a very well-respected tech writer”. He also puts down Adam Curry and the No Agenda podcast as a conspiracy show full of ‘black helicopters’. More

Sand Wars

During a discussion on the rip off of recycled glass, Adam asked what is after air and water, what is the most voluminous, traded commodity in the world? The surprising answer was sand! The number one consumer of sand is Dubai. It’s used for buildings and construction. There’s even smugglers and trade of sand.

Lexus SC400

During the donations segment of  episode 810, Sir William Durkin of Greenville South Carolina, requested some Longevity Lexus Karma. John talked about his own 1993 Lexus SC400 and exclaimed “it’s built like a truck!”  It needs No Longevity Karma. It runs forever! John currently has 150k on it. Some other owners have said they have 350k on

ITM Over Texas

Adam just painted ITM over the Texas sky. Using preplanned set of coordinates, his fight was tracked with popular flight tracking apps like Flightradar24.com or FlightAware over Texas. I discovered if you enter the track call sign as ‘K5ACC’ and set the time parameter to the last 48 hours you can get the whole flight tracked.

The most fun was meeting the producers and fans of the No Agenda

Poulsbo, WA

In NA 805, John Dvorak mentioned the little town of Poulsbo in Washington state. “You got to drive through the little downtown – it’s Fantastic!” He described it as a replica of a Norwegian town. We’re wondering if it’s comparable to Solvang, California; a little town which has the trappings of a Danish town.

Golden State Warriors

In the beginning of No Agenda 808, John Dvorak enthusiastically described how he went down the road and finally attended a home game of the Golden State Warriors basketball team. The Warriors are currently NBA World Champions and feature phenom, Stephen Curry who shoots long distance 3 pointers from all over the court. Dvorak was

Billions

Near the end of NA 806, Adam announced he was going to watch Billions on TV tonight with Tina the Keeper. He further added it was “good stuff in there!” John dismissed it as thumb twiddling – who cares – TV CRAP! Dvorak stated it was our job to watch CSPAN and suffer through these
