Adam made it official on this episode, telling guest co-host Matt Long plainly: “October 29th will be my last No Agenda show.” It’s an exit strategy that was never going to be about ratings or a business plan — it’s about following where his spirit has been leading him, and it closes out nineteen years plus one extra episode of a show that started as two guys arguing about media and became, for a lot of us, something closer to family.

Adam was candid about why. Over the past three and a half years his own faith journey reshaped how he sees the world, and he found it harder and harder to hold the show’s cynical, mocking format while that change was happening underneath him — something John, by his own account, helped keep in balance. Then came John’s passing, which Adam described as the end of an equal partnership he says he can never fully replace with anyone else. At 62, after watching too many people around him fall, he said he wants to finish this chapter strong, on his own terms, and move fully into what he calls his kingdom work — We Get to Do This, the Godcaster project helping churches become local radio stations, and a book he’s been writing about how he sees his life now.

Whatever comes next for No Agenda, nineteen-plus years of Value for Value — no advertisers, no platform standing between the show and us, the people who showed up for it week after week — is a genuinely rare thing to build and an even rarer thing to sustain. I know my life is going to change from listening to every show, and then posting on this site. From everyone here at NoAgendaFun.com: thank you, Adam, for all of it, and thank you for the years you and John gave this community together. Here’s to finishing strong.
