1. I’ve been using Handbrake for more than a decade. It is also available on MacOS which is where I use it. It isn’t just for ripping DVDs, although it is very good at that, it is also able to transcode between different formats, and to adjust frame rate and other factors.

2. The Download link is wrong. It goes to a different not free converter.

3. Oh gosh, you’re right! I was in too much of a rush to post this and didn’t realize it wasn’t the real Handbrake.

   Back in the day, I used Handbrake and can vouch that it is an Outstanding Product!

4. That’s great that you used Handbrake, and it is great that it is an open-source project. So, is there anyway you can fix the original link. It seems to be a shame to send the “tip” to a for profit.

5. Ugh! I thought I fixed the link. But it looks the change didn’t save. Will fix when I get home. Thanks for telling me about the problem.
