Dvorak thought Best In Show was hilarious. John has been discussing comics lately and he wanted to point out Fred Williard. Dvorak remembered seeing back in his college days as Williard & Grecco at the Hungry I in San Francisco’s North Beach. Williard also played the less-than-sharp foil to Martin Mull on the talk show parody, Fernwood Tonight (my favorite show when I was in Jr. High!)

Adam said he ran into Martin Mull at the Cable Ace awards. Mull was the emcee and  announced Curry as, “that guy from MTV you wouldn’t want your daughter to come home with”. So Adam and his wife Patricia never liked him.
