Hot Pockets 2009!
Hot Pockets 2009 is in the early planning stages! The most important consideration is getting a trailer to camp and produce the show in. Last year, they used a big RV which was comfortable but limited travel once inside of a town or city. Adam now says he’s got a line on a big trailer from a producer in Austin. The mammoth Cougar trailer looks like the perfect setup Adam and Micky are looking for – they can leave it at a camp site or RV park and use Adam’s Dodge pickup to drive locally.
The plan is to head north and drive north up to Montana and have listener hookups along the way. If you want to host or be part of a meetup, email micky@curry.com
Hi
I heard one of the team refer to “Miss Micky” today 22.7.2012 – surely he means “Mrs Micky”?

Hi
Young *Miss* Micky and Mr Oil were talking about plans for hot pockets and internet connectivity. The thing to ask producers etc for is *wireline* connections – not WiFi or 4G or HSPA+ – wireless doesn’t cut it with Skype. Fiber is great, and co-ax cable TV can be too, and DSL is good – but bring a long Ethernet cable with you. This is no different to mobile phone calls on radio shows – calls from ISDN phones to radio shows are much clearer and more reliable. Leo Laporte tries to stop people from using WiFi and similar from involvement in shows over Skype – unless there is no alternative.
Hey, do we have an itinerary for the tour yet?
Any chance of swinging by Florida again this year?
Thanks
John
