A guest on another podcast sent Rob down a rabbit hole of old, obscure books — and while he wasn’t fully endorsing this next one (“I don’t know about this next one”), he found it genuinely fascinating: what’s very likely Sha’ar HaGilgulim (Gate of Reincarnations), Rabbi Chaim Vital’s classic Kabbalistic text on reincarnation, garbled on air as “Shahar Haggilliam” and “Sharia Gilgum.” The clip covers the philtrum — that dimple under your nose — described as the “mark of silence,” left behind when the soul officially enters the body at a baby’s first breath. Rob’s own book habit turned up real finds too: None Dare Call It a Conspiracy and Ralph Nader’s Who Runs Congress?, picked up in an old bookstore’s conspiracy section.
