Darren’s testing Logic Pro for the first time as a possible replacement for Adobe Audition on show editing. The appeal is the one-time purchase instead of a subscription — he originally got it cheap through student pricing via B&H, and unlike Photoshop-style software, it doesn’t need to keep getting paid for to keep working. No verdict yet on whether it sticks, but it’s part of the same move away from monthly editing-software fees that’s already got DaVinci Resolve in the show’s toolkit.
