Tip of the Day: Melinda’s Fire Roasted Jalapeño Sauce

John is sometimes tired of his own cooking, that’s why he tries spices and sauces made by other chefs. Today his tip is the outstanding Melinda’s Fire Roasted Jalapeño Pepper Sauce. Melinda’s makes a variety of terrific pepper sauces and products available directly on their website but you have to order $45 min. to get free shipping. For slightly more you can get ‘free shipping’ on Amazon Prime.
It’s a version of Salsa Verde, to be honest about it. I make Salsa Verde myself. But there’s something about this particular blend, this Fire Roasted Jalapeno from Melinda. It’s almost addictive and it goes on everything – breakfast, eggs, it goes on hash browns, it goes on steak, it goes on chicken.
It’s so good!
There’s not anybody in the family that’s ever had this stuff that doesn’t agree that this stuff is borderline addictive. It’s that good!
And all their hot sauces are good and they come in a nice reusable bottle that you could use for other things. If you wanted to figure out how to wash it out, you need a bottle brush. That’s the tip of the day, too. Get a bottle brush, everybody…
