The Americans

In NA 684 the TV show, The Americans was brought up. The show’s consultant, Joe Weisberg, used to be with the CIA and has used some of his experiences to fuel this spy drama about embedded Soviet spys set in the 80’s. Some of his plots might be a little too revealing so he has to get clearances for some of the scripts by the CIA.

Adam pointed out that since the show takes place in the 80’s, there’s no cell phones – the slave tracker of most modern crime dramas is now missing! You might remember the show’s star, Kerri Russel from the canonical WB show, Felicity.
