In a discussion about commercial companies taking over government jobs like prisons, it reminded Dvorak of  the 70s movie Rollerball starring James Caan. In the film, the country was turned into factions of corporations where disputes were settled on the Rollerball court. Running Man was another anti-corporation movie mentioned.

John then complained about San Francisco’s parking ticket system which has also been priviatized so it’s hard to dispute a ticket. John groused that it takes .25 for five minutes to park in front of the Mevio/Podshow offcies on 2nd. St. John doesn’t like SF very much. Maybe John should take public transportation like BART.
