Self Balancing Scooter

While Adam was at the big Vape trade show, one of the Chinese suppliers brought a bunch of these two wheels self-balancing scooters. These are starting to take off as I’ve seen them ridden by techies in downtown SF. Very similar to a miniature Segway (maybe patent expired?). It was hilarious to witness a millennial with a baseball hat repeatedly attempt to bump his scoot over a  small handicap ramp. He bounced back and forth until he gave up and picked it up – maybe it just need more of a charge?  These are indeed getting cheap and Adam said it was fun to ride- here’s one I found on Amazon. Adam reported that the generic one he got came with a “Changlish” manual which had funny translations like,
